...THE LEARNING CENTER in Elmer School, a public, tuition based early childhood center serving infants, toddlers and preschool age 3 and 4 children is in it's fifth year with Dr. Berkowitz and Director. This State licensed child care center promotes the intellectual, emotional, physical and social well being of children. Teachers and support staff in each room utilize curricular and program materials that are age appropriate, challenging and enriching. The outside play area now includes a tricycle track and picnic/are craft area.
Everyone in Elmer School is looking forward to school year with renewed energy, enthusiasm and excitement.
We are open for visits at any time for parents to meet the wonderful staff and see our bright, cheerful and clean facility. The staff has yearly training that benefits children in their educational growth and social maturity, as well as state-certification in CPR and first aid training. Classes for 3 and 4 year olds are exciting and creative. When you visit TLC you will find happy, smiling faces—almost 60 children having fun learning and developing social skills in a safe, warm and inviting atmosphere. We enroll infants through 4 year olds in our regular program while the Summer Camp increases enrollment to include 10 year old children.
